Gaming

The Criminal Code of Canada is the legislation that permits provinces to be involved in gaming activities. The Alcohol and Gaming Authority has been designated as the authority responsible for licencing and regulating lottery schemes in Nova Scotia which are permitted by the Code. It also provides general information on lottery schemes, as described under the Code.
