Canada's Association for the Fifty-Plus - Mandate

Canada's Association for the Fifty-Plus mandate is to effectively promote the rights and quality of life of mature Canadians. As non-profit organization, they does not receive government operating funding in order to maintain its independence. Their mission is to promote and protect the rights and quality of life for older Canadians by:

  • developing practical recommendations to enhance health care, human rights and income
  • working with government on policy initiatives
  • providing information on key political and economic issues as well as lifestyle choices
  • negotiating group benefits and savings on services and products
